Perspectives on Fair Trade from Berlin, Jakarta, Mexico City and Windhoek

Online Networking Event from Sister Cities in Action

What does fair trade mean for initiatives in Berlin, Jakarta, Windhoek, and Mexico City? How is it implemented locally? And what opportunities emerge through exchange between the Global North and South—as well as within the Global South? This online networking event is dedicated to exploring these and other questions.

Committed actors from four cities will share insights into their approaches to fair and sustainable economies—and exchange experiences across continents.

The event will consist of three rounds. Each round will feature a presentation from one of the three partner cities—Windhoek, Mexico City, or Jakarta—followed by a Q&A session where the audience can pose questions and engage directly with the speakers.
After the third round, a final speaker from Berlin will summarize key takeaways and draw connections to the Berlin context.
