Monday, 11th of September 2023, 6:30 p.m., Berlin Global Village, Am Sudhaus 2, 12053 Berlin

On 6th December 2022 the Indonesian Parliament passed a new Criminal Code. It contains a number of provisions that put civil liberties at considerable risk and seriously violate international human rights law and standards. In today’s event of the series #TalkAboutPapua our guest Andreas Harsono, seasoned researcher at Human Rights Watch Indonesia and long-time observer of Papuan affairs, will shed light on the anticipated implications regarding the conflict in and about Papua once the law is fully implemented.

Talk with Andreas Harsono (Human Rights Watch).

#TalkAboutPapua is a series of events organised by Westpapua-Netzwerk, Stiftung Asienhaus and Watch Indonesia!
